ARINC places additional contract for new fielding process. ScanLink/IDM has begun work on another data collection and data management solution that is similar to its successful EITSS application. ARINC needed a separate database application for the return of equipment from the field. The use of portable data collection terminals with software on fielding laptops allows for large returns to be handled quickly and generate required standard documents.

A shipping component has been added for equipment disposition and multiple return address setup. The system tracking the contents packed in each box that is be shipped. The project will reduce manual entry of information and greatly reduce data entry errors.
